Arabic is one of the most exciting languages to learn. It is spoken by more than 350 million native speakers. Arabic is one of the six official working languages of the United Nations. Arabic is the 5th most commonly spoken native language in the world. Arabs have their own unique art, music, literature, cuisine, and way of life. You may have tried some Arab dishes such as hummus or falafel, or enjoy some Arabic music, but is this all? In learning Arabic you will explore the Arabic world, you will learn to appreciate its distinct cultural products and practices and you will come to understand some of the values important to the Arab people, such as honor, dignity, hospitality and many other values.
